KLRW Succeeds in Second Department Order to Show Cause

Mike Chuven successfully defeated an order to show cause brought in the Second Department in an alleged professional malpractice case. After successfully obtaining dismissal of all claims against KLRW’s client before the trial court, the third-party plaintiffs sought to stay the trial claiming that they would be prejudiced if the trial proceeded without KLRW’s client present. After briefing and oral argument before the Second Department, KLRW successfully defeated the order to show cause, permitting the trial to proceed without KLRW’s client.
